Résumé en français: Un hélicoptère de l'ISAF se fait tirer
dessus par des insurgés qui étaient engagés dans un échange de tirs près
de la FOB de Nijrab. L'hélicoptère a riposté. Trois policiers ont été
bléssés dans cet incident. Des investigations sont en cours.
KABUL, Afghanistan (Jan. 24) - An ISAF helicopter returned fire with an onboard 30-millimeter gun after it was fired upon by insurgents who were engaged with Afghan policemen in a fire fight near a forward operating
base in Nijrab district, Kapisa province, according to initial reports
today. As a result three policemen were injured.
When ISAF forces learned the injured individuals were policemen, they provided medical assistance before transporting them to an ISAF medical treatment facility, where they were assessed to have non-life threatening injuries.
ISAF, in coordination with ANSF, will conduct a full investigation into this incident.
